Slept close to HT to spie on deer hopping over the higher fence.
2 Talked to Newwanger Farmer near outlet to sell as a unit for larger  orders in 2018…also as a unit of 4 farmers we could be more consistant in a larger market. They agreed to come on board. I will pick up their produce and present it at Boyers. They will not conflict with the already produce. Put Henry and my produce out ( Jute, beans , Kale ect)at Boyers Market.Watered
CONCERN….I do not have enough for two stands due to the animal and insect damage as well as my late plantings.
3 Weeding too much from the rain. The increase in stink bugs is esculating and I can not seem to kill them to salvage some of my produce. I am so glad I am diversified to know what can be easy for 2018. Peppers, spices, tomatoes…are easiest. Kale is necessary but the bugs with out spraying prove not to be marketable..same for squash and cabbage.Watered

14 I need netting….too late to order
15 putting in the 4 flats of kale I planted…dino, Russian, lacy in last two rows and outside rows.
16 Finally the Lebanoese cucumbers are coming in bulk but they are too tiny .
17 NOTICE Newsanger is leaving their telephone numbers on their signs…something to question. .This is not a team if we put our numbers out for contacts. UGH…not good. Will not include them in our team for 2018
Note learned about kale….replant every 3 months…..
18 Weeded, watered built up outside bed #2 aand seeded greens. Cleared for oregano to expand.
19cleared Box 1 outside HT after picking salade greens that bolted.. NOTE>>>THESE boxes can not be used for greens.. They seem to bolt quickly. I will try kale after heavily fertilizing and building them up inprep of 2018
20Picked a few tomatoes….the slow down is remarkable but I have yellow , white, sweet cherry, brandy wine…..too few but now I know they are key to a market.

NOTE Beans and Jute are and have been producing but no one buys them. I have lowered my prices down considerably. Jute and kale are time consuming …cold shock before display and keeping them as cool as possible  on stand or in water.
25 NOT much left. ….a DEER found their way into my HT…..How is that possible!!!  They have been coming close to the house and barn due to hunters…but my HT. I put a radio in th eHT, I have slept n the HT ….I will have to put a fence separate inside the HT around the circumference this winter.
NOTE…Fencing in HT, bug netting, supplies for water system and  a tractor for 2018
26   too disgusted!! to go into HT after lowering the sides (  where they entered) yesterday
